Refinancing
City Securities provided expert testimony when the Indiana General Assembly approved advance refunding of Indiana's municipal bonds in 1973. Since then, we have worked in conjunction with school boards and superintendents throughout Indiana, refinancing bonds originally issued during periods of high interest rates. We continually rely on our vast experience to help us determine which bonds are candidates for refinancing to help school corporations reduce their debt payments. These financings are subject to stringent requirements of the Internal Revenue Code and we stay abreast of the latest rulings and regulations from both the federal and state governments.
