Public Schools

Construction

In 1949, City Securities underwrote the first public school bond issue after World War II to start educating Indiana students from the baby boom. Since then we have stayed at the forefront of education finance in Indiana, providing leadership in financing  the construction of hundreds of high schools, junior high schools, middle schools, intermediate schools and elementary schools. Since 1993, City Securities Corporation has senior-managed approximately $15 billion of public school bonds for Indiana's school corporations. We are honored by the many school corporations which call to ask us to finance another project after others had been successfully completed. Perhaps they call back because we have pioneered means of reducing the cost of these projects so Indiana taxpayers receive as much construction as possible for each dollar of taxes paid. School corporations are dependent upon us to keep reaching for new goals as the schools which were built to solve the baby boom reach the time when they must be replaced.
