City Securities Corporation Benefits for Full-Time Employees

 

City Securities Corporation continues our commitment to provide employees with the most comprehensive and cost effective benefits available.  Permanent employees who work thirty (30) hours or more per week are eligible to enroll in our benefits programs.  Benefits are part of an overall compensation package.  Our benefits package is reviewed periodically to ensure that it meets employees’ needs.

 

Health Insurance

 

City Securities offers two health care plans to employees.  Employees may elect to change plans annually during open enrollment in November.  Both plans include coverage for medical, dental and prescription services.  Coverage for employees and eligible dependents is effective on the 91st  day of employment.

 

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is our current underwriter for major medical, prescription and dental care.   

 

401 (k) Plan

 

Employees are eligible to participate in the City Securities Corporation 401(k) savings plan after a 120 day waiting period, at the next plan entry date.  Under this plan you may elect to have a percentage of your earnings contributed on a pre-tax basis.  Your contributions and investment earnings will accumulate, tax-deferred, and will be available for your use at retirement.  Rollovers from previous plans can be accepted at any time, and this plan has a loan provision.  City Securities Corporation will match up to $1,000.00 of your contributions per calendar year. 

 

Paid Time-Off (PTO)

 

Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off according to the following schedule:

 

1 – 7 years of employment:               15 days of PTO annually

8 – 14 years of employment:             20 days of PTO annually

15 + years of employment:                25 days of PTO annually

The following nine (9) days are paid holidays for City Securities employees:

Life and AD&D Insurance

 

Coverage for full-time employees is effective on the 91st day of employment; the entire premium is paid by the Firm.  AUL is our current underwriter for $20,000 Life and $20,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.

 

Long-Term Disability Insurance

 

Coverage for full-time employees is effective on the 91st day of employment; the entire premium is paid by the Firm.  This program provides coverage of 60% of salary for disability that exceeds beyond ninety days.

 

Voluntary Life Insurance

 

Voluntary, portable universal life insurance at group rates with a minimum guaranteed issue amount is provided through Principal.  Full-time employees may purchase insurance after a 90 day waiting period for themselves, spouse and children.

 

Supplemental Insurance

 

Other supplemental insurance options are available, such as short-term disability, additional long-term disability, additional AD&D and long-term care insurance.

 

Tuition Reimbursement

 

Full-time employees, who have worked at the Firm for at least one year may be reimbursed for post-secondary education that increases the skills of the employee and is beneficial to City Securities Corporation, up to $2,000 per year.  The course and its relevance to the employees job must be approved prior to commencement of each course.
